Qatar, South Sudan Discuss Strengthening Economic and Business Partnerships

During an official visit to Qatar, South Sudan’s Presidential Advisor on Security Affairs, Tut Gatluak, held discussions with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani. The meeting was marked by a message of condolence delivered by Gatluak on behalf of President Salva Kiir Mayardit, expressing sorrow over the passing of Qatar’s Father Amir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.

The diplomatic encounter served as an opportunity for both nations to reflect on and reinforce their bilateral relationship. Gatluak and Sheikh Mohammed engaged in talks about strengthening ties and exploring avenues of cooperation that could benefit both Qatar and South Sudan.
