Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, recently engaged in separate telephone conversations with his counterparts from the United Kingdom, Qatar, and Kuwait. These discussions centered around the latest regional developments and ongoing efforts to bolster security and stability in the area.
In his dialogue with the UK’s newly appointed Foreign Secretary, Ed Miliband, Prince Faisal extended his congratulations on Miliband’s new role. The conversation also provided a platform for the ministers to express their aspirations for strengthening bilateral cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom. Additionally, they explored ways to enhance collaborative efforts aimed at supporting both regional and international security.
Parallel discussions were held with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, as well as Kuwait’s Foreign Minister, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. During these talks, the importance of sustained coordination to uphold regional stability was underscored. The ministers collectively denounced recent attacks directed at Saudi Arabia and other neighboring countries, attributing these hostilities to Iran and militias backed by Iran.
